Creator agreement
Last updated October 2026
Draft — pending legal review and may change before launch.
This agreement applies to everyone who applies to publish on Blixcy, and is signed when you apply, in addition to the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and Consent & content policy. If there is a conflict, this agreement wins for creator matters.
1. Independent creator
You are an independent creator, not an employee, agent, partner or representative of Blixcy. You decide what to create and when; you cannot bind us to anything, and you are responsible for your own equipment, costs, insurance, and tax.
2. Eligibility, location and content rating
- You are at least 18 and complete our identity, age and liveness verification before your first post goes live. We may re-verify at any time.
- You must be legally allowed to work and to produce the content you publish where you live and where you film.
- You must rate every post General (no nudity or sexual content) or Adult. Adult content is not accepted from, and is never shown in, restricted territories (currently: IN), because publishing or viewing it there may be a criminal offence. From a restricted territory you may publish General content only.
- You will not use a VPN or a false location to publish Adult content while you live in, or are physically in, a restricted territory, and you will rate your posts truthfully. Misrated or hidden Adult content may be removed and your account closed.
- You are solely responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you. Blixcy cannot give you legal advice.
3. Ownership and licence
You keep ownership of your content. You grant Blixcy the licence described in the Terms (host, display, resize, watermark, cache, distribute to entitled members and promote on the platform). We do not use your content to train AI models or sell it to third parties.
4. Your promises for every upload
- Everyone shown is at least 18, and you have checked and kept a copy of government-issued photo ID for each person shown (other than you, whom we verify).
- Everyone shown has given informed, written consent to the content being made and published on Blixcy, and that consent has not been withdrawn.
- You own, or hold a licence for, everything in the content (images, music, video, text).
- It complies with the Community Guidelines and is not AI-generated unless labelled.
- You will keep your ID and consent records for at least seven years and give them to us promptly if we ask for them for a legal or safety reason.
The per-upload attestation you tick when you publish is stored with the content as evidence of these promises.
5. Removal and consent withdrawal
We may remove content at any time under the Terms. If a person shown in your content withdraws consent, or a valid takedown or legal order is received, we will remove it and you must not republish it. You can delete your own content at any time.
6. Revenue share and payouts
- The platform fee is deducted from what members pay: 5% for the first 50 founding creators and 10% for other creators, unless your Studio shows a different agreed rate.
- You see gross sales, the fee and your net earnings in the Studio earnings page.
- Refunds, chargebacks, fraud losses and payment-processor fees attributable to your sales may be deducted from your balance.
- We may hold or withhold payouts while we investigate a breach, a claim or a legal request, and where we are required to withhold tax.
- You are responsible for reporting and paying your own taxes, and for giving us the tax information we ask for.
- Payouts depend on our payment partners; timing and minimums are shown in the Studio once payouts are enabled.
7. Indemnity
You will cover our reasonable losses, legal costs and fines arising from your content, from any breach of the promises in section 4, or from anyone depicted claiming they did not consent. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending the agreement
You can close your creator account at any time. We can suspend or end it under the Terms. On ending, we stop displaying your content, honour subscribers' paid periods only where the law requires, and pay out your undisputed balance after any withholding. Sections that by nature continue (licence for backups, warranties, indemnity, records) survive.
9. Appeals
If we remove content or end your account you can appeal on the Grievance officer page.
